Performance · Fort Worth

Your training program should start with a number, not a guess.

WLF measures how your body actually performs, then builds the program around what the data shows. It starts with the $149 assessment.

Someone handed you a plan without ever watching you move. Getting back into training after time off or an injury. You want to get strong without beating up your joints. You have a number to hit. A lift, a time, a season. Your golf swing keeps losing distance. You train hard and nothing seems to change.

Sound familiar?

Common reasons people start training here.

Everyone in the class does the same workout. Your cardio zones are a guess. Strong in the gym. Sore everywhere else. One nagging tweak that keeps coming back. Training for your first 5K or first meet. You want to keep up with your kids.

Not sure where to start? That is exactly what the assessment answers.

The pattern

A program is only as good as the number it started from.

Most gyms hand you a plan on day one. Nobody has checked how you move, breathe, or produce force. WLF tests you first. Then we build your program from what the tests show.

How WLF works differently

Test. Program. Retest.

The test

We measure before we write anything.

Every client starts on equipment that measures. A strength readout, an engine readout, or both. Golfers get a TPI-based swing screen.

Questions

Asked before the first visit.

Anything else, call (817) 349-7815 and ask. A person answers, not a phone tree.

Do I have to already be an athlete to train at WLF?

No. Testing first works for anyone, from a competitive athlete to someone getting back into activity after time off. The equipment adjusts to you, not the other way around.

What makes ARX different from a normal weight machine?

A normal machine is loaded with a fixed weight. ARX adjusts its resistance to the force you produce on every rep and gives you a readout, so the load and the feedback both change with you, set to set.

Is Vasper the same as a normal cardio session?

No. Vasper pairs light resistance work with cooling. It is designed to fit a real conditioning session into less time, with less strain on your joints than a traditional workout.

Do golfers need a swing lesson or a physical screen first?

WLF's golf performance work starts with a TPI-based physical screen, run by TPI-certified providers. It connects what your body can and cannot do to what happens in your swing.

How do I know performance training is the right starting place?

You do not have to know. Book a free 15-minute intro call, tell us your goal, and we will point you at the right starting place, including whether performance training or chiro and rehab work should come first.
