Pain is a signal. We read it before we adjust anything.
Movement-assessment-first chiropractic and rehab, led by Dr. Colton Purscell, DC.
Sound familiar?
Common reasons people come in.
Not sure chiropractic is even the right fit. That is exactly what the assessment answers.
Where it hurts is not always the problem.
Pain often shows up in one spot because something above or below it stopped moving well, and the rest of the body covers for it. Treat only the loud spot and the same pain keeps finding a way back.
Assessment first. Adjustment second. Rehab always.

We watch you move before we touch anything.
We watch how you squat, hinge, rotate, and load. Where it hurts is the start of the search, not the answer.

Adjusted where the findings point.
Where the read points to a joint restriction, we adjust it. Where it does not, we tell you that instead.

Rehab so the change can hold.
The movement habit that let the problem build gets retrained. That is what helps the change hold once you are back to normal load.

Built from your findings, not a package.
Targeted adjustments. StemWave shockwave where it fits. Rehab that hands off into performance training, with recovery suite support.
Same stance as everything else at WLF: we would rather tell you what we found than sell you a package before we have looked.
Chiro rarely works alone here. The recovery suite supports the tissue work, and performance training takes over when the goal shifts from out of pain to back to load.
Take a look inside.
The rooms chiro and rehab actually run out of.

Dr. Colton Purscell
He is the founder and the reason the club exists. He sees chiro and rehab patients and set the assess-first stance the whole club runs on.
Dr. Shanae
She sees chiro and rehab patients alongside Dr. Purscell. Same stance on every visit: read how you move first, then decide what the visit needs.

What does a chiropractor do for lower back pain?
A chiropractor checks the spine and the joints around it for spots that move poorly and may be adding to your pain, then may use targeted adjustments to help restore normal movement. At WLF, that check starts with a full movement assessment, because low back pain often starts at a spot that moves poorly somewhere else.
Will I be adjusted at the first visit?
The first visit opens with the movement assessment, not the table. Where the findings point to a joint restriction, an adjustment can happen that same visit. Where they do not, we tell you that instead, and the plan starts where the findings actually point.
What if chiropractic is not the right fit for me?
Then we say so. WLF reads all six pillars, not just the spine, and care starts where yours points. Sometimes that is performance training, recovery, or medical work instead of an adjustment. We would rather tell you what we found than sell you the wrong thing. The free intro call is where that conversation starts.
How is WLF's approach different from a typical chiropractic visit?
Most chiropractic visits open with the adjustment. Ours opens with a movement assessment, so the adjustment is aimed at what we actually found instead of applied as a default. Functional rehab is built into the plan, not offered as an upsell after the fact.
What is functional rehab and why does it matter after an adjustment?
Functional rehab is exercise work that retrains the movement habit that let the problem build. An adjustment can get a joint moving again for the moment. Rehab is what helps that change hold once you are back to normal life, whether that is a workout, a work shift, or a golf swing.
What is StemWave (shockwave therapy) used for?
StemWave is a form of shockwave therapy that may help support recovery in certain soft-tissue and tendon conditions. It is used selectively, as part of a broader plan built around what your assessment shows, not applied to every visit.
How many chiropractic visits will I need?
It depends on what the movement screen finds and how your body responds to the plan built from it. WLF does not quote a visit count before we have actually looked. Book a free intro call and we will walk you through how that first read works.
