The standard we build against
This site is built against WCAG 2.1 AA, the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, and we measure rather than assume. On August 13, 2026 we re-tested every page of this site and fixed what we found; on August 17, 2026 we re-measured twice more, first after five pages (golf-diagnostic, gym, hormone-therapy, iv-therapy, services) gained visible FAQ sections, then again after fixing the one item that first pass found. On August 19, 2026 we re-measured again after the IV therapy page went back to the site's standard colour palette, which found and fixed two more. On August 20, 2026 we re-measured once more, after the site grew to 62 pages, and on August 24, 2026 we re-measured again after two booking confirmation pages were added and the footer links were restyled, taking the site to 64 pages, and once more that same day after new copy was added to the services, chiropractic and blog pages and those two sections were rebuilt on a new layout. On August 31, 2026 we re-measured again after three new blog posts, on insurance, health savings accounts and superbills, took the site to 67 pages. On September 1, 2026 we re-measured once more, after a corporate wellness page took the site to 68 and a real failure was found and fixed on it. Text contrast is measured programmatically on every page, at both a phone width and a desktop width, comparing every piece of text against the background it is actually painted on: 10,633 measurements at desktop and 10,273 at phone width. Zero measured below the AA floor, at either width. We also carry a "skip to main content" link and a main landmark on every page, added August 13, 2026.
What we have not done is a full audit with real assistive technology. Automated measurement and keyboard testing catch a specific class of problem well, and they do not tell you how a page sounds to somebody using a screen reader every day. So the honest statement is this: as of September 1, 2026 we know of no unresolved contrast or keyboard-navigation failures, and we do not claim the site is free of every possible barrier. If you hit one, the section below is not a formality, we will fix it.
When we change the site, this page and its date change with it, and only after re-measuring.
What you can expect
- A "skip to main content" link on every page that has a header to skip. Press Tab as soon as a page loads and it is the first thing you land on, so you can jump the header and the menu instead of tabbing through them on every page.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator, including the mobile menu.
- Captions on video with speech: the founder video carries a captions track, one tap away on its CC control.
- Forms that announce their errors and their results, not just display them.
- Text contrast at or above the AA floor on every surface we measured.
- Alt text that says what a photograph actually shows.
- Animation that respects your reduced-motion setting, in both CSS and script.
Known limits
We have not tested this site with real assistive technology. Our testing is automated contrast measurement plus manual keyboard navigation. That combination is good at finding the problems it is designed to find, and it cannot tell us how a page actually sounds to somebody navigating it with a screen reader. Until we have done that, treat the statement above as covering contrast and keyboard use, and nothing wider.
Two parts of this site are embedded from our scheduling and messaging platform: the booking calendar on the booking page, and the chat window. We have configured both as accessibly as that platform allows, and we pass issues we find to them. If either blocks you, contact us directly and a real person will book you or answer you by phone or email instead. Nothing on this site requires the embedded tools.
